Terms of Service

Last updated: May 25, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Daily USDOT (the "Service"), operated by Compliant Trucker LLC ("Compliant Trucker", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Daily USDOT ingests the FMCSA Daily Register — a public record published by the U.S. Department of Transportation — and makes it accessible via web, CSV export, and direct push to your CRM (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Zoho). The Service is a paid subscription. A free public preview of the most recent Register is available without an account.

2. Account and eligibility

  • You must be 18 or older and using the Service for business purposes.
  • You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to update it when it changes.
  • One account per individual user. Team-seat sharing of a single login is not permitted.

3. Subscription and payment

  • The Service is offered for $99 USD per month, billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices may change with 30 days' notice; existing subscribers will be billed at the existing price for one full cycle after the change.
  • You can cancel at any time from your billing portal. Your subscription remains active through the end of the current period and is not prorated on cancellation.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you believe you were charged in error, email [email protected] and we will investigate.
  • Failed payments may result in suspension of access after a grace period. We will email you before suspending.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service to third parties as a standalone offering.
  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate any third party's rights.
  • Scrape, automate, or reverse-engineer the Service to extract data at industrial scale beyond ordinary use.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to our infrastructure.
  • Send unsolicited communications (spam) to USDOT registrants in violation of CAN-SPAM, TCPA, or analogous laws.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your outreach to USDOT registrants complies with all applicable telemarketing, email, and SMS regulations. The Service provides contact information from a public record; it does not pre-qualify or screen consent.

5. Data and ownership

Public FMCSA data

The USDOT registrations surfaced by the Service originate from the FMCSA Daily Register, which is a public record published by the U.S. Department of Transportation. That data is not owned by us. We do not warrant its accuracy or completeness; FMCSA may revise records without notice.

Your data

You own the data you input into the Service (e.g. account info, filter preferences, CRM connection settings). You grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate the Service for you. We will not sell your account data or analyze the contents of your CRM beyond what is necessary to push new DOTs into it on your behalf.

Aggregate / anonymized data

We may use de-identified, aggregate data (e.g. "the Service ingested ~150 new registrations on a typical weekday in 2026") for product analytics and marketing.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payment), Resend (email), DigitalOcean (hosting), and — if you connect them — HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Zoho. Your use of those providers is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for downtime, data loss, or policy changes in those providers.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee it. The FMCSA Daily Register may be delayed, unavailable, or change format at FMCSA's sole discretion; this can cause delays or gaps in the data we deliver. We are not liable for missed leads resulting from upstream publication issues.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. The Service does not constitute legal, compliance, or regulatory advice. You are responsible for your own due diligence on any company or contact surfaced by the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPLIANT TRUCKER'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) $100 OR (b) THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, OR LOST DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

10. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless Compliant Trucker from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law (including telemarketing or anti-spam laws).

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms (e.g. unpaid invoices, abuse of the Service). On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (e.g. payment, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Changes to the Service

We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. For material reductions in functionality of a paid feature, we will give you at least 30 days' notice.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we consent to personal jurisdiction there.
